PRODUCTION MANAGER/PHARMACIST

 The manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. Promoting and ensuring efficient production of goods and services.

Job Descriptions:

·         Controls production process and production facilities.

·         Making sure that all standard yields are maintained by production line.

·         Meet the weekly and monthly production plans according to the laid down standard.

·         Ensures that all the production equipment is properly maintained-in good working order.

·         Ensures the general cleanliness and hygienic conditions of the manufacturing areas.

·         The manager must also make sure that the health and safety guidelines are fully observed.

              Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

·         B. Pharm with 5-8 years experience as a senior production officer, for the post of Production Manager.

·         B. Pharm with 5-8 years experience as a senior production officer, for the post of Production Pharmacist.

·         High organizational and management skill.

·         Good people management skills.

·         Good computer knowledge.

NB: Other professional qualifications may serve as added advantage.

QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST/MICROBIOLOGIST

You shall be responsible with the coordination and execution of the quality analysis and control activities of the company’s production line.

Job Descriptions:

·         Implements the quality control operational manuals in line with regulatory and other set standards.

·         Shall be involved in conduct of required pre and post-production test and analysis of the company.

·         As a Quality Control Analyst, you shall ensure conformance of manufacturing processes with organizational standards and objectives, polices and regulatory guidelines.

            Qualification/Educational Requirements:

·         B.Sc. /B. Tech/HND-Microbiology, Biochemistry or any related field.

·         3-5 years’ experience of working in the QA/OC unit of a pharmaceutical company.

·         You must be able to carry out chemical/microbial analysis on raw materials, packaging components and finished products.

·         Sampling and vetting Packaging materials.

·         Good computer knowledge

·         Other professional certifications may be an added advantage.

MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description:

·         You shall as the Medical Representative, be involved in marketing and sales of the company’s ethical products ( as stated by the company’s policy) to Hospital, Clinics, Health Centres, Chemists and other pharmaceutical outlets.

Qualification/Educational Requirements:

·         B. Pharm with 1-3 years’ cognate experience in similar function.

·         You must have had 1-3 years’ experience as a medical representative in a pharmaceutical company.

·         Ability to build and maintain and good relationship with clients and customers.

·         Good communication skills.

·         Ability to write and present accurate reports on sales and figures.

·         Additional qualifications such as MBA may be an added advantage.

PRODUCTION OFFICER

Job Description:

·         Planning and organising the company’s manufacturing processes.

·         Ensure conformance of manufacturing processes with organizational standards and objectives and regulations with the coordination of production executives/assistance manager production.

·         Ensures the availability of adequate raw materials, packaging materials on time in line with the production plan.

Qualification/Educational Requirements:

·         B.Sc. /B. Tech/HND-Microbiology, Biochemistry or any related field.

·         3-5 years’ experience of working in the production unit of a pharmaceutical company.

·         A thorough and practical knowledge of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs);  current Good Manufacturing Practice (BMP); and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

·         You must be a good team player with the ability to supervise a diverse team of people.

·         You must also have sound and good knowledge of computer.
