MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

A leading agro-allied company (PRESCO PLC) engages in the cultivation of oil palms and processing of vegetable oils, fat and other by-products. PRESCO has over 2100 workers on site (12,000 hectares planted with oil palms in Edo state Nigeria.

Responsibilities:

-          Candidate shall stand in for or deputize the Chief Accountant and Chief Finance Officer in various tasks as required by the organization.

-          Follow up tax matters.

-          Give as at when required the IFRS reports.

-          Shall be responsible for the Budget and Forecasting.

-          Build and develop capabilities of good and effective accounting team.

-          And other responsibilities as designated by the organization.

Job Requirements:

-          Candidate must have B. Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.

-          Must also possess additional professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or any other       professional body qualifications equivalent to the above.

-          Minimum of (at least) 5years’ experience in plantation.

-          Good and sound Financial and Management Accounting technical skills; excellent skills in  excel spreadsheets.

-          Candidate is also expected to have good experience with Enterprise Resource planning Systems.

-          Good team player, energetic and self-motivated personality with positive attitude to work and organizational objectives.
