Senior Technical Adviser for TB

 Responsibilities:

Providing direct technical assistance to national TB programme/MoH targeted at ensuring universal access to TB medicines through pharmaceutical system

Providing as well technical leadership to donors and Global TB initiatives

Supply chain two management, management information systems, pharmaceutical services

Candidate would be the primary liaison between SIAPS TB Core and the USAID Country Missions, Government counterparts, stakeholders and partners involved in pharmaceutical management activities, and/or implementing related programmes in the regions

Responsible for the adequate deployment of CPM tools and frameworks and their adequate customization and ownership at the country level

Works closely with the country portfolio team; international and national stakeholders to ensure that technical assistance activities are effectively executed as appropriate to meet the required standards.

Supports measurement and documents of portfolio results

Supports and contributes effectively to SIAPS and CPM capacity building and knowledge exchange plans

Qualifications:

Graduate degree in a health-related field (pharmacists or physician preferred)

Remarkable experience in the implementation of international and country TB prevention, care and treatment programmes

Willing and able to travel within the country and internationally when required

Ability to multi-task simultaneously with excellent result

Sound knowledge of relevant programmes supported by bilateral agencies (e.g. Global Funds and Global Drug Facility)

Strong interpersonal and organization skills

Sound experience in pharmaceutical system, management information system, supply chain management
