FINANCE AND BUDGET SPECIALIST

Candidate shall handle the technical and management aspect of LEAD budget transparency; responsible for the implementation, quality control, reporting and monitoring components

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the design, direction, implementation of the financial statement, and programme activities

Expected to contribute and assists with LGA assessment activities

Coordinates with Special Specialists in the LGA, Civil Society Strengthening and service improvement component

Anticipates when required programme needs, creating and following recommendations

Making available necessary reports on programme

Regular and consistent monitoring of activities and provision of both written and verbal report of results to necessary bodies in the organization

Design and implement as required training to the LG officials

Candidate shall be responsible for the coordination, collection, and dissemination of information to the necessary departments for effective training and other activities.

  Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree (and 10 yrs) or M A degree (6 years experience)

Good technical and managerial skills

Degree in political science, public administration, and/or any related field

Interpersonal skills

Sound communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent team player

Ability to work with no supervision

Command good English
